A leading Canadian supermarket chain, specializing in serving the South Asian community, required distinct festive branding to resonate with its diverse customer base.
Custom branding was developed for various cultural and religious celebrations, incorporating vibrant visuals, traditional motifs, and region-specific design elements. DIY DIWALI LANTERN

During Diwali, brands flood the market with promotional ads, but Chalo! FreshCo sought a deeper connection with the South Asian community. Inspired by the traditional Kandil (lantern), symbolizing light over darkness, they created a unique newspaper insert.
Instead of advertising deals, the insert featured simple DIY instructions to transform it into a lantern, bringing the spirit of Diwali into homes. This low-cost, high-impact branding stood out amid countless festive promotions.
